I’m a geek (and a little obsessive compulsive) when it comes to nostalgic images from my childhood. So when Dave was asking who the other food related character was, I knew I recognized him, but was trying to figure out who it was. I knew it wasn’t Chef Boyardee (?), then it hit me! It’s the guy on the box of Cream of Wheat!! My sister and I loved Cream of Wheat and it brings back memories of warming up on cold mornings. I found out his name is Frank L. White. He was an immigrant from Barbados, got his US citizenship maybe 5 years later, and was considered a talented chef in Chicago. They removed him from the box because some people were offended and thought his picture on the box was racist.

All this canceling for the sake of not offending reminds me of the South Park episode with the Christmas show. Ironic as the powers that be take actions to not offend, they are simultaneously erasing the diversity of our past.

Hey there SnedHeds…. A friend just told me about Trump “pocketing medals” from the FIFA World Cup. She also showed me video of Trump not leaving the stage?? Not that I believe it - but has anyone else heard this? I think it’s a distraction play because no one is talking about what Tulsi released.
